FAQ
No. Technicians are not needed to move your service over to Peace Power
No, your retailer is independent from your transmission and distribution company. This means that we only charge you for the power you consume and not responsible for the physical infrastructure that supplies power to your site.
Peace Power offers a variable and fixed rate for electricity and a variable rate for gas. When choosing a rate you may want to consider having the stability of a fixed rate or using a variable rate to take advantage when the electricity price is low. Note the variable rate also rises so you may need to keep track of it from month to month. For the pro’s and con’s please see our blog:
The simple answer is ‘Yes’ but you must check the terms of your agreement as they may have a penalty or early exit fee if you cancel before your agreement expiry date. If you have a long-term fixed agreement, we encourage you to honour the agreement commitments. When your agreement expires, however, we hope you will consider switching. Some of our customers have found it economically profitable to pay the penalty as they saved more in a short period of time based on our lower energy rates.
You can transfer your rate with you to your new location. Just give us 10 business days notice that you are moving, provide us with your new Site ID for electricity and we’ll take care of the rest.
